The Space
The Merchant Room, is a contemporary addition to the Castlefield Rooms and uses roof glazing to maximise the feeling of space and light. The floor to ceiling windows complete the modern feel and allow unparalleled views over the Castlefield Basin on two sides of the space.

The space comprises 180 square metres and includes a private bar, separate entrance, PA system, air conditioning and full disabled access.  The space can accommodate all audio visual requirements.
The suggested capacity for this space is from 70 to 250 for reception drinks and from 50 to 150 for a private dining event. It has also been designed to be used alongside The Brindley Room to provide a combined event space for up to 400 people.
